Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.
- Arrange the sliced apples in the bottom of the prepared pan.
- In a medium bowl, mix together sugar, flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- Stir in melted butter and eggs until well combined.
- Pour the batter over the apples in the pan.
- Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
