  • 1 package phyllo dough
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a bowl, mix together the chopped nuts, sugar, and cinnamon.
  • Brush a baking dish with melted butter.
  • Layer phyllo dough sheets in the baking dish, brushing each sheet with melted butter.

  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-40 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • While the baklava is baking, combine honey and water in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
  • Once the baklava is done, pour the hot honey mixture over the hot baklava.
  • Allow the baklava to cool before serving.
