- 1 package phyllo dough
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted

- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix together the chopped nuts, sugar, and cinnamon.
- Brush a baking dish with melted butter.
- Layer phyllo dough sheets in the baking dish, brushing each sheet with melted butter.
- Sprinkle some of the nut mixture over the phyllo dough.
- Repeat layering phyllo dough and nut mixture until all ingredients are used, ending with a layer of phyllo dough.
- Using a sharp knife, cut the baklava into small squares or diamond shapes.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-40 minutes, or until golden brown.
- While the baklava is baking, combine honey and water in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
- Once the baklava is done, pour the hot honey mixture over the hot baklava.
- Allow the baklava to cool before serving.
