Description

A fun twist on the classic sloppy joe, these Big Mac-inspired sloppy joes feature the same bold flavors of a Big Mac, with ground beef, tangy pickles, and a creamy sauce. Perfect for a quick and delicious meal that everyone will love!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped pickles
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Hamburger buns

Instructions

  • In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and onion over medium heat until the beef is browned and the onion is softened, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Drain any excess grease from the skillet.
  • Stir in the chopped pickles, ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  • Simmer for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens and the flavors meld together.
  • Serve the sloppy joe mixture on hamburger buns.

Notes

  • You can adjust the level of mustard and mayonnaise depending on your preference for tanginess or creaminess.
  • For a healthier version, you can use ground turkey or chicken instead of beef.
  • Add shredded lettuce and a slice of cheese for a more authentic Big Mac experience.
