Description

This Creamy Ground Beef Alfredo Pasta is a rich, comforting dish featuring savory ground beef in a creamy Parmesan Alfredo sauce. Served over fettuccine pasta and garnished with fresh parsley, it’s a hearty and delicious meal that’s perfect for weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 lb fettuccine pasta
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks.
  • Add diced onion, minced garlic, and Italian seasoning. Cook until the onion is soft and fragrant, about 5 minutes.
  • Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Let the sauce simmer for a few minutes, allowing it to thicken slightly.
  • In a separate pot, cook fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain the pasta and set aside.
  • Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the beef and Alfredo sauce. Toss to combine, making sure the pasta is evenly coated.
  • Serve hot, garnished with freshly chopped parsley.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, you can substitute the heavy cream with half-and-half or milk.
  • Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms for added flavor and nutrition.
  • You can use any type of pasta you prefer, but fettuccine works best for the creamy Alfredo sauce.
