Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 lb fettuccine pasta
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks.
- Add diced onion, minced garlic, and Italian seasoning. Cook until the onion is soft and fragrant, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Let the sauce simmer for a few minutes, allowing it to thicken slightly.
- In a separate pot, cook fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain the pasta and set aside.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the beef and Alfredo sauce. Toss to combine, making sure the pasta is evenly coated.
- Serve hot, garnished with freshly chopped parsley.
Notes
- For a lighter version, you can substitute the heavy cream with half-and-half or milk.
- Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms for added flavor and nutrition.
- You can use any type of pasta you prefer, but fettuccine works best for the creamy Alfredo sauce.
