- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, and add them to the skillet. Cook until golden brown on both sides, about 6-7 minutes per side.
- Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute.
- Stir in chicken broth, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a simmer and cook for 3-5 minutes, or until the sauce thickens.
- Return the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and the sauce is creamy.
- Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and serve hot.
