Description

These Crispy Air Fryer Seasoned French Fries are easy to make and come out golden, crispy, and perfectly seasoned every time. With a mix of garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika, they have an irresistible flavor that pairs well with any dipping sauce!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 medium-sized potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, finely chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Potatoes:

    • Wash and peel the potatoes (optional, you can leave the skin on for extra texture).
    • Cut the potatoes into even strips, about 1/4 inch thick, to ensure even cooking.
    • Soak the potato strips in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch, helping them get crispier. Drain and pat them dry with paper towels.
  2. Season the Potatoes:

    • In a large bowl, toss the potato strips with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Make sure the potatoes are evenly coated with the seasoning mix.
  3. Preheat the Air Fryer:

    • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3 minutes.
  4. Air Fry the French Fries:

    • Place the seasoned potato strips in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Do not overcrowd the basket, as this will affect the crispiness.
    • Air fry the fries at 375°F for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking. For extra crispiness, add a couple more minutes to the cook time.
  5. Serve and Garnish:

    • Once the fries are golden brown and crispy, remove them from the air fryer. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley if desired and serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauces.

Notes

  • You can use russet potatoes for the best results, but other varieties will work as well.
  • Adjust the seasoning to your preference, adding more garlic powder or paprika for extra flavor.
  • For a crispier finish, you can spritz the fries with a little more olive oil before air frying.
