Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tube crescent roll dough
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Unroll crescent roll dough and separate into triangles.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, 1/2 cup sugar, and vanilla extract.
  • Spread cream cheese mixture onto each crescent roll triangle.
  • Roll up each triangle and place on a baking sheet.
  • In a small bowl, mix together 1/4 cup sugar and cinnamon.
  • Brush each rolled-up crescent with melted butter and sprinkle with the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can drizzle a glaze made from powdered sugar and milk over the buns once they’re cooled slightly.
  • If you want a thicker cream cheese filling, feel free to add more cream cheese, but adjust the sugar accordingly.
  • These buns are best enjoyed fresh out of the oven for the full, warm flavor.
