Description

This Sweet & Savory Honey Garlic Sausage recipe brings together juicy sausages, a rich garlic sauce, and the perfect balance of sweet and salty flavors. The honey adds a beautiful caramelized glaze that enhances the sausages’ savory goodness, while garlic and soy sauce create a depth of flavor that’s irresistible. Whether you’re making it for dinner or serving it as a party appetizer, this dish is guaranteed to be a hit. Plus, it’s easy to make and comes together in less than 30 minutes!

Ingredients

  • Sausages (Italian, chicken, or your choice)
  • Honey
  • Fresh garlic (minced)
  • Soy sauce
  • Olive oil (for sautéing)
  • Fresh herbs (optional: parsley or thyme for garnish)

Instructions

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the sausages to the pan and cook, turning occasionally, until browned and cooked through (about 8-10 minutes).
  • While the sausages cook, prepare the honey garlic sauce: In a small bowl, mix together honey, minced garlic, and soy sauce.
  • Once the sausages are cooked, remove them from the pan and set them aside.
  • In the same skillet, pour the honey garlic sauce and bring to a simmer over medium heat. Stir occasionally, allowing the sauce to thicken and become fragrant (about 2-3 minutes).
  • Return the sausages to the skillet and toss them in the honey garlic sauce until they are fully coated and glazed.
  • Garnish with fresh herbs (optional) and serve immediately.

Notes

  • If you like your sausages a bit crispy, let them cook a little longer until the exterior is golden brown before removing them from the pan.
  • Feel free to adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey depending on your preference.
  • Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or a simple green salad for a complete meal.
  • For a spicy kick, you can add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
