Description

This Valentine’s Strawberries Cream Iced Latte is a dreamy and refreshing twist on your regular iced latte, made with sweet strawberry syrup, smooth cream, and rich espresso. Perfect for a romantic treat or a fun drink to celebrate the season, this creamy, fruity iced latte will add a touch of sweetness to any Valentine’s Day celebration. It’s an indulgent, yet refreshing, drink that combines the flavors of fresh strawberries and coffee into a match made in heaven!

Ingredients

Scale

For the Strawberry Syrup:

  • 1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries, chopped
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup water

For the Iced Latte:

  • 1 cup brewed espresso or strong coffee (cooled)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream (or milk for a lighter version)
  • 2 tablespoons strawberry syrup (from above)
  • 12 teaspoons vanilla syrup or sugar (optional, for extra sweetness)
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh strawberries (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  • Make the Strawberry Syrup:
In a small saucepan, combine the chopped strawberries, sugar, and water. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the strawberries break down and the syrup thickens slightly (about 5-7 minutes). Remove from heat and let cool. Strain the syrup through a fine mesh sieve to remove the solids, if desired. Set the syrup aside.
  • Prepare the Iced Latte:
Fill a glass with ice cubes. Pour in the cooled espresso or strong coffee. Add the strawberry syrup and vanilla syrup (if using), and stir well to combine.
  • Add the Cream:
Gently pour the heavy cream over the back of a spoon into the drink to create a layered effect, or stir the cream into the latte for a more blended drink. You can also use a milk frother to froth the cream for extra texture and fun!
  • Garnish:
Garnish with a fresh strawberry on the rim of the glass, or drop a few sliced strawberries into the drink for a pretty touch.
  • Serve:
Serve immediately and enjoy the sweet, creamy, and refreshing Valentine’s treat!

Notes

  • You can adjust the sweetness by adding more or less strawberry syrup to suit your taste.
  • If you want a dairy-free version, substitute the heavy cream with coconut cream or any plant-based milk of your choice.
  • If you prefer a stronger strawberry flavor, add more strawberry syrup and less cream for a fruit-forward drink.
