Description

This delicious White Pizza features a rich blend of mozzarella, ricotta, and Parmesan cheeses, complemented by fragrant garlic and a touch of heat from red pepper flakes. Perfect for a light dinner or as a savory appetizer, this pizza is a cheesy, creamy delight that will satisfy any pizza lover!

Ingredients

Scale
  • ¼ cup yellow cornmeal (for pizza dough surface)
  • 1 pound pizza dough (homemade or store-bought)
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely grated
  • ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 6 ounces fresh mozzarella, torn into small pieces
  • ½ cup ricotta cheese
  • ⅓ cup freshly grated Parmesan
  • Fresh basil leaves (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat up.
  2. Sprinkle a pizza peel or baking sheet with yellow cornmeal to prevent sticking.
  3. Roll out the pizza dough on the prepared surface to your desired thickness.
  4. Drizzle olive oil over the dough, spreading it evenly with a brush or your fingers.
  5. Sprinkle the grated garlic and crushed red pepper flakes over the olive oil.
  6. Season with kosher salt and black pepper to taste.
  7. Scatter torn mozzarella pieces evenly across the dough, followed by spoonfuls of ricotta cheese.
  8. Sprinkle freshly grated Parmesan cheese over the pizza.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.
  10. Once the pizza is done, remove it from the oven and garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.

Notes
