Description

These Taco Cupcakes are the perfect bite-sized fusion of taco flavors in a crispy wonton wrapper. Filled with seasoned ground beef, black beans, diced tomatoes, and melted cheddar cheese, they’re topped with your favorite taco fixings like sour cream, avocado, and cilantro.   • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 24 wonton wrappers
  • Optional toppings: sour cream, diced avocado, chopped cilantro

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  • Add the taco seasoning, black beans, and diced tomatoes to the skillet. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
  • Line a muffin tin with wonton wrappers, pressing them gently into each cup to form small cups.
  • Spoon the beef mixture into each wonton cup, filling them to the top.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the beef mixture in each cup.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the wonton wrappers are golden brown and crispy, and the cheese has melted.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
  • Garnish with optional toppings like sour cream, diced avocado, and chopped cilantro for extra flavor.
