Scale
  • 1 box of chocolate cake mix
  • 1 cup of water

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 can of chocolate frosting
  • 24 pretzels
  • 48 candy eyes
  • 24 red M&M’s

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  • In a large bowl, mix together the cake mix, water, oil, and eggs until well combined.
  • Divide the batter evenly among the cupcake liners, filling each about 2/3 full.
  • Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • Let the cupcakes cool completely before frosting.
  • Once cooled, frost each cupcake generously with chocolate frosting.
  • Break the pretzels in half to create antlers and place two pieces on the top of each cupcake.
  • Attach two candy eyes and one red M&M on each cupcake to form the reindeer’s face.
  • Allow the frosting to set before serving.

Notes

  • For a more festive look, you can use white frosting for the face or outline the eyes with icing.
