Description

A delicious twist on the classic Reuben sandwich, this Reuben-style Roast Beef Bagel combines savory roast beef, creamy Swiss cheese, tangy sauerkraut, and Thousand Island dressing, all nestled in a soft, toasted bagel. It’s a quick, easy, and satisfying meal that brings together all the best flavors of a Reuben sandwich in a handheld form.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bagel
  • 4 oz roast beef
  • 2 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1/4 cup sauerkraut
  • Thousand Island dressing, to taste

Instructions

  • Slice the bagel in half.
  • Place the roast beef on the bottom half of the bagel.
  • Add the Swiss cheese on top of the roast beef.
  • Spread sauerkraut over the cheese.
  • Drizzle Thousand Island dressing on top.
  • Place the other half of the bagel on top to close the sandwich.
  • Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • If you prefer a warm sandwich, you can toast the bagel halves before assembling, or even grill the whole sandwich to melt the cheese.
  • You can substitute the roast beef with corned beef for a more traditional Reuben flavor.
