- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Combine the Cheeses:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the grated sharp cheddar cheese and mild cheddar cheese. - Add Pimentos and Seasonings:
Stir in the chopped pimentos, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until everything is well combined and the mixture is smooth. - Optional: Add Green Onions:
If using, stir in the finely chopped green onions for added flavor and color. - Chill and Serve:
Cover the pimiento cheese and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld together. Serve chilled or at room temperature with crackers, vegetables, or as a sandwich spread.
