Description

This Brazilian-style steak is bursting with flavor! Tender skirt steak is seasoned to perfection and topped with a rich garlic butter sauce, creating an irresistible, savory dish that pairs perfectly with any side.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs skirt steak
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 6 tsp garlic, minced
  • 6 tbsp butter
  • ½ cup chopped parsley

Instructions

  • Preheat your grill or a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Season both sides of the skirt steak generously with salt and pepper.
  • Grill or cook the steak for 4-5 minutes per side, depending on your desired level of doneness (about 135°F for medium-rare).
  • While the steak is cooking, melt the butter in a small pan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant but not burnt.
  • Once the steak is cooked to your liking, remove it from the grill or skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  • Drizzle the garlic butter mixture over the steak, and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
  • Slice the steak against the grain into thin strips and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Skirt steak can be a bit tougher, but it’s packed with flavor! Be sure to slice against the grain to get the most tender bites.
  • You can adjust the garlic amount based on your taste preference.
  • Serve with a side of rice, potatoes, or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
