Ingredients
Scale
- 2 lbs skirt steak
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 6 tsp garlic, minced
- 6 tbsp butter
- ½ cup chopped parsley
Instructions
- Preheat your grill or a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season both sides of the skirt steak generously with salt and pepper.
- Grill or cook the steak for 4-5 minutes per side, depending on your desired level of doneness (about 135°F for medium-rare).
- While the steak is cooking, melt the butter in a small pan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant but not burnt.
- Once the steak is cooked to your liking, remove it from the grill or skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes.
- Drizzle the garlic butter mixture over the steak, and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
- Slice the steak against the grain into thin strips and serve immediately.
Notes
- Skirt steak can be a bit tougher, but it’s packed with flavor! Be sure to slice against the grain to get the most tender bites.
