Description

This Creamy Cajun Shrimp Fettuccine combines perfectly cooked shrimp, colorful bell peppers, and a rich, creamy Cajun sauce served over tender fettuccine pasta. A flavorful, spicy, and creamy dish that’s ready in under 30 minutes!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  • Cook fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a bowl, toss shrimp with Cajun seasoning until evenly coated.
  • In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove shrimp and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add sliced bell peppers and cook until slightly softened.
  • Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Cook until the sauce thickens, about 5 minutes.
  • Add shrimp back to the skillet and toss to coat in the creamy sauce.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve shrimp mixture over cooked fettuccine pasta.
  • Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve hot.

Notes

  • If you prefer a spicier dish, add extra Cajun seasoning or a dash of hot sauce to taste.
  • You can use half-and-half instead of heavy cream for a lighter version of the sauce.
  • For extra flavor, consider adding a squeeze of fresh lemon juice before serving.
