Description

These cheesy chicken wraps are a perfect blend of tender chicken, melty cheese, and fresh vegetables, all wrapped up in a soft tortilla. They make for a quick, satisfying meal whether you’re looking for a tasty lunch, dinner, or snack. Enjoy these wraps with a side of salsa or guacamole for extra flavor!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cooked and shredded

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or your favorite cheese)

  • 1 cup lettuce, chopped

  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes

  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely diced

  • 1/2 cup sour cream

  • 4 large flour tortillas

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Optional: Jalapeños, sliced, for added heat

Instructions

  1. Cook the Chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and cook the chicken until browned and cooked through (about 6-7 minutes per side). Once cooked, shred the chicken using a fork.

  2. Prepare the Wrap Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken with the shredded cheese, chopped lettuce, diced tomatoes, and red onion. Stir in sour cream until the mixture is well combined.

  3. Assemble the Wraps: Lay a tortilla flat on a clean surface. Spoon some of the chicken mixture onto the center of the tortilla, spreading it evenly. If desired, add some jalapeño slices for extra flavor.

  4. Roll the Wraps: Fold in the sides of the tortilla and then roll it up tightly from the bottom to enclose the filling.

  5. Serve: Slice the wraps in half and serve immediately with salsa or guacamole, if desired.

Notes

  • You can add any veggies you like (such as bell peppers or avocado) for extra flavor.

  • These wraps can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.

  • You can swap the flour tortillas for whole wheat or gluten-free wraps for a healthier option.
