- 8 mini croissants
- 4 slices smoked cheddar cheese (or regular cheddar), halved
- ¾ pound deli-cut ham
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
- 1 tablespoon honey
- ½ to 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 large egg white
- Poppy seeds, for sprinkling
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice the mini croissants in half horizontally.
- In a small bowl, mix together the softened butter, yellow mustard, honey, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Spread a thin layer of the butter mixture on the inside of each croissant.
- Place half a slice of smoked cheddar cheese on the bottom of each croissant.
- Layer with deli-cut ham, then top with another half slice of cheddar cheese.
- Close the croissants and brush the tops with egg white.
- Sprinkle the croissants with poppy seeds for a decorative touch.
- Arrange the croissants on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden and crispy on top.

- You can substitute regular cheddar cheese if smoked cheddar isn’t available.
