Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine powdered sugar, corn syrup, water, and peppermint extract.
- Stir until the mixture forms a dough. If it’s too sticky, add a little more powdered sugar, a tablespoon at a time.
- Once the dough is firm and smooth, divide it into portions if you want to add different colors.
- Add a few drops of food coloring to each portion, and knead the dough until the color is evenly distributed.
- Roll the dough into small balls (about 1-inch in diameter) and then flatten them slightly with your fingers.
- Let the peppermints dry on parchment paper for at least 2-3 hours to harden.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
