Description

This Oreo Peanut Butter Chocolate Cake combines the rich flavors of chocolate cake, creamy peanut butter, and crunchy Oreo cookies in a delightful, decadent dessert. The marbled peanut butter swirl and cookie topping add texture and flavor, making it a perfect treat for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 24 Oreo cookies

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • Prepare the chocolate cake mix according to package instructions and pour into the prepared baking dish.
  • In a medium bowl, mix together the peanut butter, powdered sugar, softened butter, and milk until smooth and well-combined.
  • Drop spoonfuls of the peanut butter mixture onto the cake batter. Use a knife to swirl the peanut butter mixture into the batter, creating a marbled effect.
  • Crush the Oreo cookies and sprinkle them over the top of the cake batter.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow the cake to cool before serving.

Notes

  • If you prefer, you can use chunky peanut butter for extra texture.
  • For an even richer cake, you can add a layer of chocolate frosting on top after baking.
  • Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an extra indulgent treat.
