Description

A festive and delicious dessert, this Christmas Sugar Cookie Cheesecake combines a sweet, soft sugar cookie base with a creamy, rich cheesecake filling. Perfect for holiday gatherings, this cheesecake features vibrant red and green swirls, topped with colorful sprinkles for extra cheer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package sugar cookie dough
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • Red and green food coloring
  • Sprinkles

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Press sugar cookie dough into the bottom of a greased 9-inch springform pan, forming a crust.
  • In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth and creamy.
  • Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  • Stir in vanilla extract, sour cream, and flour until fully combined.
  • Divide the cheesecake batter into two portions. Add red food coloring to one portion and green food coloring to the other, mixing to create a vibrant swirl effect.
  • Spoon the colored batters alternately into the pan, then use a knife or skewer to swirl the colors together.
  • Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the cheesecake is set and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Let cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  • Top with sprinkles before serving.

Notes

  • For extra holiday flair, you can add holiday-themed sprinkles or crushed candy canes on top.
  • Make sure the cream cheese is softened to room temperature to avoid lumps in the batter.
  • You can use a regular pie or tart pan if you don’t have a springform pan.
