- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 24 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- Zest of 1 orange
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
- In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar, and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form the crust.
- In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese and 1 cup sugar until smooth. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract, orange juice, and orange zest.
- Pour half of the cream cheese mixture over the prepared crust. Sprinkle half of the chocolate chips on top. Pour the remaining cream cheese mixture over the first layer, and top with the remaining chocolate chips.
- Bake for 55-60 minutes or until the center is almost set.
- Remove from the oven and cool on a wire rack.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving to allow the cheesecake to set completely.
