- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups quick-cooking oats
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/2 cup caramel ice cream topping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the brown sugar and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Mix in the quick-cooking oats until well combined.
- Press the oat mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- Bake for 10 minutes in the preheated oven.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle the semisweet chocolate chips evenly over the top. Let them melt for a few minutes, then spread the melted chocolate evenly over the bars.
- Sprinkle the chopped walnuts over the chocolate layer.
- Drizzle the caramel ice cream topping over the top, adding as much as desired.
- Let the bars cool completely before cutting into squares. Enjoy!

- For extra flavor, try adding a pinch of salt on top of the caramel before serving.
