Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package frozen phyllo cups
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (such as walnuts or pistachios)
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a medium-sized bowl, mix together the chopped nuts, honey, melted butter, and cinnamon until well combined.
  • Fill each frozen phyllo cup with a generous amount of the nut mixture.
  • Place the filled phyllo cups on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
  • While the cups are baking, melt the chocolate chips and vegetable oil together in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth and fully melted.
  • Once the baklava cups have cooled slightly, drizzle the melted chocolate sauce over the tops of the cups.
  • Serve and enjoy these delicious chocolate-drizzled baklava cups!

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, feel free to use a combination of walnuts and pistachios, or try almonds.
  • If you prefer a stronger chocolate flavor, you can add more chocolate chips or drizzle extra chocolate sauce on top.
  • Make sure to allow the baklava cups to cool slightly before drizzling with chocolate to avoid the chocolate melting too quickly.
